I want thank Drew Soicher for taking on the special privileges given to celebrities when they are caught drinking while driving. I know ‘ordinary’ people who have been stopped once and had the book thrown at them. Frankly, I would rather have someone ‘regular’ speak to my children about drinking and driving. They have paid ‘real world’ consequences. The celebrities are in a world of their own. The consequences that Carmello Anthony is paying, other than the $1,000.00 fine that he can well afford, are the kids at the schools.
