VAIO & Transcosmos America Tap Grayling to Relaunch Brand in the U.S.
Japanese personal computer manufacturer VAIO Corp. and its sales and operations partner Transcosmos America have enlisted Grayling to relaunch the brand and a new line of products in the United States. VAIO, formerly a division of Sony Corp., plans to release a hybrid tablet/laptop next month.
Denver Preschool Program Issues RFP for Web, Comms Services
The Denver Preschool Program has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for management of its Outreach and Communications, which includes five major projects – Strategic Communications Consultant, Community Outreach, Public Relations & Copy Writing, Design, and Website Development.
Response options include responding as a single entity to complete all projects, responding as a single entity to any one project or responding as a single entity to any combination of projects. The deadline to respond is Nov. 6, 2015.

2015 DPC Gridiron Show
Tickets are still available for next week’s Denver Press Club Gridiron Show.
Who’ll be on stage? Gov. John Hickenlooper and his band will make their annual appearance. Longtime DPC member and new Denver City Council member Kevin Flynn has written a song to the tune of Canned Heat’s “Let’s Work Together” that he’ll perform.
Rep. Jonathan Singer and other state legislators will perform one song. And the core cast: Edie Sonn, Cynthia Rose, Ruth Darling-Goldberg, Cynthia Hessin, Bruce Goldberg, Tom Corona and newcomer Phil James. Plus Hank Troy on piano and Julia Hays on violin. Fred Brown will serve as emcee.
The songs will skewer such topics as Donald Trump, Tom Brady, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, the Animas River spill, Hillary Clinton, presidential candidates, RTD’s train to DIA and more.
