Neil Westergaard, the longtime, award-winning editor-in-chief of the Denver Business Journal and most recently a columnist for ColoradoPolitics.com, passed away Sunday. He was 67.

That’s a shocker. Hadn’t talked to him much after he left DBJ. He was an accomplished journalist and fine guitar player. Above all a really kind and nice human being. I will miss him.
He was a stalwart and principled member of the Fourth Estate in Colorado whom I always admired and appreciated. May he Rest In Peace.
