5280 Magazine has hired Carrie Horn as its new marketing director. Horn joins the magazine from Entercom Communications, where she served as promotions director for Denver’s Alice 105.9 radio station.

Solis, Falls to Hit Denver as Part of Social Media Roadshow
Social media pundits Brian Solis and Jason Falls will be in Denver to discuss social media strategies and tactics at the “Explore and Engage” event on Tuesday, June 14. Registrations are limited to 120, and the first 50 get a copy of Solis’ book, Engage, thrown in.
Turner Wins One, Hires One
Turner PR has added Sandos Hotels & Resorts to its portfolio of hotel clients. Turner will provide strategic bilingual media relations for two of the growing hotel company’s Mexico properties including the Sandos Caracol Eco Resort & Spa and Sandos Playacar Beach Resort & Spa. Turner also announced that it has hired Ashley Cothran as an account executive. Cothran previously was with Aiello Public Relations and Marketing.
