Ogilvy demonstrated it is taking buzz-marketing seriously by becoming the first PR agency to “formally partner” with word-of-mouth network BzzAgent.  The deal will give Ogilvy “special rates and preferred slotting” for the firm’s campaigns.

The Rocky Mountain News reports that Comcast begins carrying the Fox Business Network (channel 130) in Denver today. Before you start pitching clients for it, you may want to be aware that no one is actually watching the channel.

Report Says Colorado Falling Behind in the Region

A new economic development report released yesterday by the Metro Denver Economic Development Corp. indicates that Colorado is falling behind other states in our region due to a lack of investment in higher education, transportation and health care. The risk, according to the report, is that lucrative, high-paying jobs may land in Utah and New Mexico rather than Colorado, limiting future growth in our state.
