Gov. John Hickenlooper releases his memoir Opposite of Woe: My Life in Beer and Politics today. While he has made a political career of straddling that quirky/bizarre line, you have to wonder if he pole-vaulted over it with some of his revelations. From John Frank at The Denver Post:
When Hick runs for higher office, no one will be able to uncover any “dirt” on the guy. It will already be public and he will have been the source. It’s one of the cardinal rules of issue mgt/crisis comm — lead the conversation, don’t leave it to others to make it up. Quirky like a fox.
