Denver Post Seeks to Eliminate Another 20 Percent in Latest Buyouts

Greg Avery at the Denver Business Journal reports that The Denver Post wants to eliminate another 20 percent of its newsroom – 26 positions – in the latest round of buyouts, the second in just 12 months.

Good grief. Another round or two like this and the receptionist will also be covering business news.

It is a sad state of affairs. Steven forget the receptionist, there just going to have the firms write the news next. Our content and brand journalism departments can fill the gap, right? Sigh….
