Social Media Raises the Stakes

In this instance, a positive endorsement story for Congressional candidate Joe Miklosi quickly turns ugly when The Denver Post’s Kurtis Lee focuses on how the campaign staff overestimated the number of people who might attend the announcement.

Proof that news conferences are passe, and still there are too many of them. Analog thinking in a digital age.

Here’s a thought: Have the event OUTSIDE a fire station, with a fire truck as a backdrop — and maybe recruit some actual firefighters to show up in the audience, with their families and kids. Sounds like piss-poor planning to me. And looks like an endorsement from no one.
