Here’s to the ownership change at KMGH being a good one for their team, and it’s sad to hear about potential layoffs at the Post.
Journalists these days are doing more with less than ever before. Having been in television news for a significant part of my career before going into communications, I attended the Poynter Institute. Then director Valerie Hyman said to us, “You are essential to Democracy.”
Those words have always stayed with me. So I’ll end this by saying thank you to the reporters and photographers, the editors and writers, all those who keep us informed. I know how hard you work and please know how much it’s appreciated.
