Deborah Sherman Named FBI PIO
Former 9News investigative reporter Deborah Sherman has been named the new Public Information Officer for the FBI’s Denver Division covering Colorado and Wyoming. Sherman, who founded the public relations consulting firm Media Zone shortly after leaving 9News, has served as spokeswoman for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in the past.

Bawmann Group Adds Account Manager
The Bawmann Group (TBG) has added Alyssa Strazza as an account manager. Strazza joins TBG from Brand Iron, where she developed brand strategies, drove creative processes and managed client communications for companies across several industry verticals, including Colorado Center and the Denver Athletic Club.
Vladimir Jones Hires Jim Dissett
Vladimir Jones hired Jim Dissett as its new director of brand communications. Dissett most recently was general manager and director of public relations at RIESTER’s Salt Lake City office, and he also has served in senior-level positions at GroundFloor Media, Vanguard Communications and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.
“Jim is like the Jeff Bridges of the brand comm world. He’s had a long career – doing really great work just slightly under the radar, often playing that pivotal role that brings the big picture together,” said Joe Hodas, executive vice president brand communications at the agency.
