Scream Agency Adds Clients, Supports Local Nonprofits

Denver’s Scream Agency has added a couple of new clients:

  • Reach Out and Read Colorado, an organization that gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together
  • Gold Crown Foundation, a Colorado nonprofit that offers youth sports and education programs to nearly 20,000 boys and girls annually throughout Colorado and the surrounding states

The Agency has also been busy giving back to the community through their Scream Serves Program, participating in the Scream Scram 5K benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver this fall and donating hours to Easterseals Colorado, Destination Imagination, Best for Colorado, Habitat for Humanity and Protect Our Winters.

Webb Adds Three Governmental Clients

Webb Strategic Communications has added three major governmental entities as clients – the Denver Mayor’s Office, the Regional Air Quality Council, and the Colorado Municipal League.

Webb was awarded the communications support contract for Mayor Michael Hancock’s North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative (NDCC), an initiative to strategically align six major redevelopment projects in a vital area of north Denver. Webb has won a two-year contract with the Regional Air Quality Council (RACQ) to motivate residents along the Front Range to help reduce ground-level ozone pollution. And the firm has also entered into an agreement with the Colorado Municipal League (CML) to provide assistance in the promotion and planning for Colorado Cities & Towns Campaign.

Dovetail Solutions Adds Five New Clients

dovetail solutions has added five new clients: Colorado Education Association, Confluent Development, Safe Rx, The Cossitt Law Firm and BMC Investments. The firm also welcomed back two previous clients: The Boedecker Foundation and i2 Construction.

Orapin Inks 3 New Clients, Resigns Additional One

Orapin Marketing + Public Relations has signed three new clients and re-signed one more. The agency has been named the agency of record for Century Communities, a national homebuilder headquartered in Denver; Golden Software, a Golden-based provider of scientific graphics software; and Dunbar Kitchen + Tap House, a neighborhood restaurant and pub located in Denver’s only historic cultural center, Five Points. OMPR is also entering its fifth year working with the Original Pancake House of Denver.

LiveWell Colorado Selects SE2

LiveWell Colorado, a nonprofit organization committed to preventing and reducing obesity, has selected SE2 to help educate and engage advocates after conducting a comprehensive agency review process. SE2 will help LiveWell Colorado educate Coloradans on the systemic barriers to nutritious food and physical activity and the ways in which they can advocate for making their communities as healthy as possible.

GroundFloor Media Adds Incubator Concept as Client

Avanti Food & Beverage has selected GroundFloor Media (GFM) to promote the grand opening of Denver’s first collective eatery and restaurant incubator concept. The Avanti model allows both emerging and established chefs and restaurateurs to test concepts in a controlled environment that costs a fraction of what it would take to launch a traditional brick and mortar restaurant.

Located at 3200 Pecos Street in LoHi, Avanti will include seven self-contained eateries anchored by two bars offering craft beer—including 10 Dogfish Head Brewery taps and 10 rotating taps dedicated to showcasing the best of Colorado’s craft breweries, wine and unique cocktails.

GroundFloor Media Adds Earth Balance as Client

GroundFloor Media has added Earth Balance as a client. Earth Balance makes a variety of plant-based, vegan products such as buttery spreads, nut butters and snacks. GFM recently helped Earth Balance announce its Responsible Palm Oil Commitment and is developing an ongoing national media relations campaign designed to raise awareness of the benefits of choosing a plant-based and dairy-free approach to eating.

Good Times Taps DStreet for PR Campaign

DStreet has been retained by Good Times Restaurants to promote its all-natural beef burgers.

Tennyson Center for Children Retains GroundFloor Media

GroundFloor Media (GFM) has been retained by Tennyson Center for Children (TCC) to serve as the organization’s outsourced communications partner. GFM will provide the nonprofit with media relations and donor relations support, as well as strategic counsel related to social media and advertising. GFM and TCC have a long-standing relationship; TCC was GFM’s pro-bono client from 2003-2010, and agency founder Laura Love serves on the TCC board of directors.

WordenGroup Adds Civitas as Client

WordenGroup has added Denver-based urban design studio and landscape architects Civitas to its roster of clients. WordenGroup’s other architectural clients include Boulder’s Arch 11 and Jackson, Wyo.’s Blake Architects.

Civitas has done redevelopment projects in the Central Platte Valley, Stapleton and Larimer Square, and was recently named part of the team selected by the City of Denver to morph the National Western Stock Show into a vibrant year-round Western heritage-based National Western Center development.

DStreet Adds Comic Con-related Client

Comic Book Classroom has retained DStreet to promote Denver Comic Con and specifically highlight the event’s unique literacy mission.

BMW Championship Names Volume PR AOR

Volume PR has been selected as the agency of record for the BMW Championship 2014, the PGA Tour FedExCup Playoff event that will be held at Cherry Hills Country Club in September. The agency also is representing the organizing body, The Western Golf Association, and its charity, the Evans Scholars Foundation.

Turner PR Named AOR for JayBird

Turner PR has been named public relations agency of record by JayBird, a premium sports brand known for its innovations in the wireless premium headphone category. Turner PR will lead all public relations efforts and work to drive sales and consumer engagement surrounding current and new product categories. The agency also is supporting JayBird’s recent entry into wearable tech following the debut of its Reign wireless activity tracker at the International Consumer Electronics Show this month.

Bawmann Group Adds Seven Clients

Boom Adds Two Clients

Boom Broadcast and Media Relations will again assist the March of Dimes Foundation with the announcement of its annual March of Dimes 2013 Premature Birth Report Card. Boom also has added the Joyful Heart Foundation as a pro-bono client to help it launch the NO MORE PSA campaign – a ground-breaking celebrity-driven PSA campaign featuring more than 40 celebrities and public figures saying NO MORE to domestic violence and sexual assault.

COHN Named AOR, Hires One

COHN has been named agency of record for Centennial-based Playtime, Inc., the largest creator and fabricator of soft play areas found in places like malls, shopping centers, fast food restaurants and aquatic parks.

COHN also announced it has hired Hannah McCaffrey as an account executive. McCaffrey previously was an account manager for Factory Design Labs, and she will support COHN clients Mont Blanc, Brew 1, GoodDrinks, Water Tech and Payreel.

Bawmann Group Adds Senior Counselor, Wins Five New Clients

The Bawmann Group has added Greg Morton as senior counselor. Morton has more than two decades of integrated marketing experience in both agency and corporate settings, and he will serve as team lead for several health care, education and nonprofits clients.

TBG also has been engaged to perform a variety of marketing and communication activities for several new clients, including HBO, Peak Veterinary Specialists, the Denver Arthritis Clinic and Medical Simulation Corporation.
