Private equity firm GTCR Valor Merger Sub Inc. is acquiring Vocus for nearly $450 million, according to Reuters. PR Week notes that this isn’t GTCR’s first attempt to get into the space – “GTCR has also been trying to acquire Stockholm-headquartered Cision since February.”
