One by one, Denver’s best television political reporters are leaving. First, CBS4’s Raj Chohan leaves to become a lawyer, and now 9News’ Adam Schrager is leaving today for a job in Wisconsin to be closer to family. Let’s hope Adam’s departure is of the Gregg Moss variety, and that Adam is back in Denver in a year or two.
Eli Stokols, you are officially on the clock.

Sad news for Denver. Adam’s political/public affairs reporting was some of the best. He’ll be missed, but can enjoy more brats and such in Wisconsin. Good luck, Adam!
When I heard Adam was leaving, I thought it might be to host Meet the Press. Goodness knows he’s qualified. Talking with him the other day, I can certainly understand, and admire, his dedication to family. Being a Wisconsin kid myself, he’ll be a great addition to the vibrant political coverage in Wisconsin. We have several mutual friends back there.
I wish him well, and while hoping he might return to Colorado, I think his future is at the network level, broadcast or cable.
A great journalist–an even better human being.
