- The City and County of Denver quietly revised the logo for its “Vibrant Denver” campaign to support passage of a bond initiative. The original logo was created via AI, and it had a skyline that didn’t resemble Denver’s at all. A real designer was able to fix it.
- Actor Adam Devine of “Modern Family,” “Pitch Perfect” and “Righteous Gemstones” disclosed that doctor’s have diagnosed him with the rare neurological disorder Stiff Person Syndrome. Devine said the disease, which singer Celine Dion also has, could, significantly shorten his life expectancy.
- South Korea’s supreme court unanimously ruled to remove the country’s impeached president Yoon Suk Yeol, which clears the way for the country to elect a new leader.
- A woman who was convicted of conning JPMorgan Chase out of $175 million argued that she shouldn’t be forced to wear an ankle monitor prior to her sentencing because it would hinder her ability to teach her Pilates class.
- Culinary Creative Group, the ownership group behind such Denver restaurants as Tap and Burger, Forget Me Not, Mister Oso, Señor Bear, and Bar Dough, is facing allegations that it misused a 20% service fee it charged patrons.
- John Thornton, a financier who founded the American Journalism Project and launched The Texas Tribune in a successful effort to spark a revival of local journalism, has died. He was 59. The Colorado Sun is among the innovative digital-first news outlets that received funding from the American Journalism Project.

- Former Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony – the Hydrox to LeBron James‘ Oreo – has been elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. While he never won an NBA championship, he did win one college national championship and three Olympic gold medals.
- TNT won the rights to the French Open tennis tournament, and it has hired eight-time Grand Slam winner Andre Agassi as a studio commentator.
