John Hall has been named senior manager of Corporate Communications at Dish Network. Hall formerly was market development manager at CenturyLink.

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock has named Sarah Kurz as the city’s Director of Marketing. Kurz, who joins the city from SE2, replaces the dynamic and alliterative Steve Sander.
Pure Brand Communications has added Anne Wright as director of account management. Wright has a 15-year portfolio of designing and implementing strategies across the marketing landscape, largely with Denver-based positions. She’ll contribute to Pure’s efforts with clients such as Western Union, Bellco, Stetson and NCM Fathom, among others.

GBSM has promoted Cody Wertz from senior associate to principal. Linhart Public Relations has promoted Andy Peters to account executive. Peters joined Linhart PR in April 2011 as an account associate, providing media relations, research and video production support to clients, including WhiteWave Foods and UnitedHealthcare. He will continue those communications services in his new position.
Congratulations to Jim Guttau, who has joined Four Seasons Resort Vail as Director of Public Relations. Jim has spent the past seven years as the principal of Guttau PR, a boutique firm focused on clients in the hospitality, nonprofit, and lifestyle sector.
Previously, Dana Lauren Berry has split her attention between the Vail resort and the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver. She will now handle public relations exclusively for the hotel in Denver.
