Singleton Sets Mid-January ‘Ultimatum’ for Union Concessions

Scripps will decide whether to shut down the Rocky Mountain News, and the Denver Newspaper Agency has issued an ultimatum to six unions to agree to $20 million in wage and benefit concessions by Jan. 16 or … (insert evil Dean Singleton laugh here)… “face even worse consequences.”

Study Examines Client Turnover at PR Agencies

Being a tech agency in the Southwest is the hardest PR gig going, according to a study of client turnover by StevensGouldPincus. Overall, client turnover was 22% in 2008, while technology firms experienced a 30% client turnover rate and Southwestern states averaged 33%. The full report is here.
