Congratulations to Jen Holliman, who has accepted a morning news producer position at 9News. Holliman most recently was an account manager at Webb PR, but her background also includes producing morning shows for KWGN in Denver and KKTV in Colorado Springs.

Jackson National Life Insurance Company has named Lori Stafford-Thomas director of external communications. She previously was with Fiserv in Milwaukee. In her new role with Jackson, Stafford-Thomas will oversee the media relations and external outreach efforts of Jackson and its affiliates, including National Planning Holdings (NPH) and Curian Capital, LLC (Curian).

Marmillion + Company has added Josh Lohmer as an account executive in the firm’s Denver office. Lohmer joins Marmillion from New York City, where he wrote advertising copy and conducted market research analysis for Fortune 500 companies and developed and executed the marketing strategy for a local business, including email marketing, website redevelopment and creative social media engagement. He previously worked in Denver for the National Conference of State Legislatures. Marmillion, which specializes in non-profits and associations, also announced it has added the Tourism Board of Provincetown (Mass.) and the Texas General Land Office as clients.

The Colorado Association of School Boards has named Kristine Woolley as its Director of Communications. Woolley formerly was the marketing and community relations director for a law firm in Charlotte, N.C., and also was the community relations and public relations manager for the Visiting Nurse Association in Vero Beach, Fla. Prior to attending graduate school at Colorado State University, Woolley was a newspaper reporter for The Mountain Mail in Salida, where she covered education and school boards.

The Women’s Foundation of Colorado hired Kim Sporrer, APR, as its new Marketing and Communications Manager. Sporrer most recently was Director of Communications for the Humane Society of Boulder Valley in Boulder.

The Western Dairy Association has named Jo Anne Grammond as its Director of Communications. Grammond formerly was an account supervisor with Phoenix-based agency Mullen Public Relations and was also a reporter for Tribune Newspapers in Mesa, Ariz. Most recently, she was a freelance writer and public relations consultant and worked with The Metropolitan Group at Re/Max Unlimited in Aurora.

CenturyLink has named CJ Powell as Public Relations Manager for its Denver/Northern Colorado market. CJ will handle internal and external communications for CenturyLink and will directly report to the VP/GM responsible for the company’s Denver/Northern Colorado market.

Visit Estes Park has hired Brooke Burnham as Director of Public Relations and Social Media. Burnham will develop and implement strategies in public relations and social media that will help Visit Estes Park serve its mission of attracting visitors to the Estes Park Local Marketing District. Burnham previously was with the Waterloo (Iowa) Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Verde PR has hired Kendall Schoemann as an Account Coordinator in its Boulder office. Kendall provides support for clients such as Ibex, Nikwax, Cocona Technology and Zuke’s Performance Pet Nutrition.
