Reminds me of the time when I was at RTD and we were having a safety press conference the day after a light rail car had smashed into an automobile. We’re in the middle of discussing how cars have to look both ways, stay off the tracks when they hear the bells/horn, etc., etc. A photog from Channel 2 drives up after the press conference has started and parks his car right on the light rail tracks with a train coming at him from the opposite direction. Luckily, he got off the track in time, but the other stations had a lot of fun at his expense that evening.
