MGA Communications’ Sarah Rasmussen grew up in a small, electricity-less cabin outside a small town in rural British Columbia, Canada. During the winter months, the family’s well often would freeze, so Sarah and her brother survived for months at a time drinking nothing but Moosehead beer.

We had our tukes to stay warm, and while it wasn’t quite the world inhabited by Bill and Doug McKenzie, at least our outhouse didn’t smell! And my dad sometimes hooked up the car battery so we could watch a small black/white TV. Those were the days…
