Thanks for posting. If there is anything that is broken right now, its the RFP process. Dog and pony shows for agencies are prohibitively expensive and exhausting. I wish more companies were transparent on exactly what they’re looking for, how many companies they’re speaking with, etc. And I wish agencies would more carefully vet what RFPs they accept.
If you look at the comments, I think Zappos had an excellent response. But I think this dialogue needs to continue in the future.

I will give mammoth props to Zappos for contributing to the dialogue in the comments. They’re clearly listening and not afraid to clarify information.
