I am a retired TV Sports Anchor who gave Bob Kendrick his fist ever TV Job. There's no doubt he will re-surface in a better position. He is a very loyal individual....When I first hired him 15 years ago I only had a 16 hr. per week ($23 per hr.)position in my budget....he accepted it and worked 50 hours per week without filing for any more than the 16 hrs.Yet he worked 50hr per week covering everything under the sun and attended every community event as possible on his own time. ...Victoria British Columbia, Canada ,is very proud of Bob Kendrick....The 400 thousand dollars per year that was to much for the station to pay "Terry BOB" (knick name) maybe could have been negotiated to a lower level???? I don't know.....But "Terry Bob" We luv You.

And they just dumped Jennifer from Entercom's Alice 105.9. Again a "did not renew the contract" situation. Everyone is making cuts everywhere. All the traditional media has to find new ways to make $$ on the internet!

I'll miss him. Just met him the one time and he was very gracious. I'm guessing it's a budget issue, but again, just a guess.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mark K. in his slot. Again, a guess. They could do the 9pm block on 20 with a solo anchor.

ABC just announced some pretty big cuts in the budget, there's talk (again) about CBS and CNN merging in some way and previous NBC budget cuts already announced

And of course, 31 and 20 "merging" as well.

Wonder where it will all end?

Best of luck to you Bob.
