Penny … this is both all of your friends here. We’ve taken over the Denver PR Blog for the day because we need to stage an intervention, and we didn’t feel comfortable going to that loft you just bought (and then wrote about incessantly — seriously, did you get a discount on it, or what?) Anyway, please have a seat because we have some things to say, and we need you to listen to us.
This isn’t easy for us, so we’ll just say it: Trista and Ryan are D-list celebrities at best. You need to stop writing about them so often. It’s making you look like a Trista-and-Ryan entourage wannabe. Okay, maybe that was unfair. But you do seem to lose perspective when it comes to them. We know you like them a lot because they were famous in 2003 and, more important, they return your calls. But, and we say this with love, returning your calls just kind of validates that they are D-list, don’t you think?
You wrote today about Hyatt’s contest to win a romantic getaway with Trista and Ryan. Let’s be honest, how many times have you entered that contest so far? A couple hundred? More? It’s time to step away from the entry forms and get back to what has made you the Penny Parker everyone knows — by writing about Denver chefs no one has heard of and making up those alleged “eavesdropping” bits. You can do it, Penny. We know you can.

Yeah, that was a cheaper-than-average shot at Penny. I can’t believe they wrote it.
